How to identify the different types of heating systems:

  • High-Efficiency: Most common are wall-hung, box-type and vent with white plastic pipe. We specialize in High-Efficiency systems: 95% - 97% AFUE. (Ask about current rebates)

  • Forced Hot Water: Uses either a baseboard or radiator. It can also have more than one thermostat (multi-zone) and on this system you "bleed."

  • Steam: Four ways to identify a steam system are: only one thermostat, uses radiators only, a glass tube on the boiler that has water in it, and steam systems have a vent that looks like R2D2.

PRO TIP: Have your heating system anNually inspected and serviced.
